Athena proudly represents the Mount

At the Mount there is a student that everyone admires and looks up to. Her name is Athena, she possess an attitude of wisdom, leadership, strength, and friendliness towards others. Her goal as a student is to motivate, help, and be a role model to students, so they can succeed in their journey through college.

        Athena has been around as a student for a long time. Currently, her class and major is unknown, but she is someone all the student have gotten to know throughout the years. She represents the school and serves as a positive symbol.

        She motivates students to achieve their full potential, because of the examples she has placed. As a student she follows the commitments of civility, also known as the Athenian Promise. Academically she is an idol, succeeding in all the subjects presented to her. Her little secret, which she encourages, is to study hard and be open to new ideas.

One very admiring commitment that she has is to, “embrace the concept of civil community which does not tolerate violence, theft, bigotry, or harassment of others in any form.”

        In the future she wants to keep motivating students, but she is difficult to come across on campus. Therefore, she highly encourages everyone to follow her journey on her Facebook page.
