ISAE Peer Advisors

Purpose:
To serve as ISAE leaders and help ISAE participants acclimate to college life, including monitoring the need for academic support and educate them about campus and ISAE services and activities.
Interested in being a Peer Advisor?
Recruitment for the Peer Advisor team takes place in the Spring semester. Only ISAE students can complete the application process and interview for this leadership opportunity. The following are the Peer Advisor position requirements:
- Be able to serve as a Peer Advisor for the ENTIRE ACADEMIC YEAR (Fall and Spring semester)
- Sophomore standing at Doheny; or Junior or Senior standing at Chalon
- At least one year of active participation in the ISAE Program
- Maintain a cumulative G.P.A of 2.5 or better (all MSMC programs stress academic excellence before anything else)
- Be available to attend both a Fall and Spring training and end-of-the-year retreat
- Have a strong desire to support other ISAE students and a commitment to follow through with all leadership and Peer Advisor Team goals and responsibilities.
- Have an active MSMC e-mail account and check it daily
