Mount St. Mary’s College has a culture of assessment. This means

Conducts an effective oral presentation in which timely business issues are analyzed, interpreted and resolved.

  1. Demonstrate: Group oral presentation about analysis of a selected organization's culture with recommendations about how to meet stated organizational goals

Writes an effective research paper and/or case study about topical business issues.

  1. Prepares written strategic analysis of a selected corporation.

Demonstrates use of appropriate technology in communicating business data and information.

  1. Use of Internet and PowerPoint technologies to communicate analyses of marketing mixes of large corporations.

Guides a newly formed team of five or more students in developing innovative solutions to complex business situations.

  1. Students form study groups outside of class and students break out into groups to solve in-class exercises.

Develops cohesiveness in a newly formed team of five or more students.

  1. Students participate in self-managed team of five members to deliver quality recommendations for a company’s marketing efforts within a specific time frame.

Respects the opinions of others, even when expressing contradictory viewpoints.
