The Business Administration Department at Mount St. Mary's College is committed to providing academic support for our Title V students. In addition to faculty mentors, our Title V students are encouraged to take advantage of a variety of academic support services offered through the Learning Assistance Program.
For example, we offer individualized academic counseling and support to assess your state of study, and what can be done to make you even more effective; individualized peer tutoring for academic courses; professional writing and critical thinking support; and disability support services.

Also available to Title V students, the Peer Mentor Program is designed to assist students in developing the tools for success at Mount Saint Mary’s College. Through contact with a peer mentor, Title V students build academic skills, increase familiarity with college resources, develop strategies for career development, and provide at supportive environment within the context of addressing the special needs of first generation college students of Hispanic heritage.
