Child Development

My experience at the Mount was one that shaped the person I am today. MSMC provided me with the skills and tools to navigate and pursue my goals in higher education and in my career. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Psychology, and the courses in Child Development and Psychology are fundamental components to my education, as they are to my work as a School Social Worker and Therapist. As I continue to work with children, adults and families, I continue to reference material I learned at the Mount such as Piaget and Vygotsky and their understanding of the human lifespan.
