Once enrolled in the Film, Media & Social Justice Program, majors become part of the Film Sisterhood, a departmental student organization dedicated to professional development and filmmaking skills practice.
The Sisterhood provides opportunities for collaboration on film projects (productions by faculty or fellow students), as well as to provide mutual support in each student's creative and academic endeavors.
Guest speakers with experience in the industry regularly visit to discuss the challenges, insights, and success strategies on how to excel in the multimedia field. The Film Sisterhood meets monthly.
