Arabic Studies

Arabic 1: Introduction to reading, writing, speaking and understanding modern standard Arabic. This course is proficiency based and relies on student participation. It aims to place the student in the context of the native speaking environment through use of a textbook and introduction to authentic materials.

Arabic 2: This course is for students who have successfully completed Arabic I or its equivalent, or native or heritage speakers who can understand Arabic minimally and produce simple sentences.
