B.A. in Liberal Arts

The liberal arts major allows the study of human beings and societies from the multiple perspectives of the humanities and social sciences.  By means of this interdisciplinary major, a student can explore and combine the varied insights into human art and activity that are revealed by the discipline and methodology of psychology, literature, art, history, philosophy, religious studies, music, sociology, economics, and anthropology.  The liberal arts major provides a solid background for work in law, public administration, and most fields in the humanities and social sciences.  Students who wish to develop a strong professional specialization are encouraged to combine the major with a minor, such as business administration of psychology.
